Lepus Productions, led by Ivor Novello-winning musician Martin Green, is a distinguished creative company dedicated to creating "beautiful music in visually stunning worlds." They consistently challenge conventional performance norms, exploring "difficult and challenging topics" through diverse art forms.
Lepus has produced highly acclaimed stage shows like "Flit" (2016), an exploration of migration praised as "achingly beautiful" (MelC, Amazon UK, 5/5 stars). Their recent co-production with National Theatre of Scotland, "Keli" (2025), is a powerful play featuring live brass bands, earning a 5 star reviews and described as "Spine-tingling" (The Times) and as a "masterclass in theatrical components working seamlessly together" (Broadway Baby). Lepus also develops impactful audio work, including the BBC Radio 4 series "Banding: Love, Spit and Valve Oil" and the richly crafted podcast, "The Portal." In 2024 Lepus records was created, in order to independently release the music that were so connected with the performances and the artists Lepus work with.
In 2025 Lepus Arts was granted charity status, whilst Lepus Productions retained status as Ltd company.
Martin Atkinson serves as Executive Producer, integral to realising these ambitious and critically celebrated projects, and the strategic evolution of the organisation.
